Matthew Parker is a medical doctor with a diverse background, currently self-employed and operating his practice remotely from Carthage, Texas since June 2023. His areas of expertise include urgent care, medical aesthetics, functional and family medicine, telemedicine, occupational and preventive medicine, weight loss coaching, and bioidentical hormone therapy. 

Dr. Parker is the founder of Heritage Medicine, a healthcare provider offering integrated medical services to a wide variety of clients. He has been honored with the Patient’s Choice Award for his dedication to providing excellent healthcare services.

Dr. Parker previously served as the Medical Director and Solo Physician at Body Oasis Alabama, where he managed a range of medically-supervised aesthetic services, medical weight loss consultations, and hormone-balancing treatments. His professional journey also includes tenure as Medical Director at On Demand Healthcare, where he specialized in functional medicine and Direct Primary Care, and at Southern Wellness, offering comprehensive primary care services. 

In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Parker has also served in the military as a Marine. He participated in notable operations like Desert Storm and Restore Hope, demonstrating leadership and dedication.
