Why We Selected The Grove Recovery Center – Baton Rouge
The Grove’s Baton Rouge campus serves as a bridge between residential care and standard outpatient treatment, giving clients access to therapy, aftercare and other services in a supportive environment. Those participating in the intensive outpatient program focus on building momentum and strengthening recovery skills, making it easier to transition back to work or manage household responsibilities. The IOP lasts for approximately 12 weeks and includes weekly assignments to help people build on their early progress.
Participants attend group sessions three times per week, with each session lasting for 3 hours. This gives people plenty of time to discuss their challenges and review educational content related to life skills, coping mechanisms and the disease of addiction. Clients who need additional support also have access to The Grove Recovery Residences, a group of sober living homes located near the outpatient campus.
After completing the IOP, clients may continue the recovery journey with weekly outpatient groups and other forms of aftercare. This structure lasts for 6 to 12 months, ensuring people have somewhere to turn if they encounter previous triggers or need additional support.
