If you or a member of your family is interested in enrolling in a First Health Network Insurance plan, you have many choices.
These plans are mandated by law to provide the same coverage as Original Medicare, which includes Medicare Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical) coverage. First Health Network also provides HMO and PPO plans.
Each First Health Network Insurance plan provides differing amounts of coverage for various needs, such as prescription drug coverage and telehealth services, so be sure to examine each plan thoroughly.
First Health Network Insurance provides the following types of plans:
- Family health insurance
- Individual health insurance
- Medicaid
- Medicare
Currently, there are two different types of First Health Network Insurance plans available for enrollment on HealthCare.gov:
- Participating Provider Option (PPO)– Individuals with a PPO plan can choose where they go for care without requiring a referral from their doctor or prior authorization. They do not even need to see a doctor in-network.
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) — Individuals with an HMO plan are generally only covered for treatment by in-network providers. You will most likely require a referral or prior authorization for a specialist.
First Health Network Insurance also offers two other special plans in some areas:
- First Health Network D-SNP – This is a unique type of Medicare Advantage plan that provides more aid and benefits at no extra cost for people who qualify for Medicare and Medicaid. However, you are not going to be able to choose a separate Part D plan.
- First Health Network C-SNP – This proactive plan is for individuals who live with chronic conditions. These sorts of chronic conditions can include congestive heart failure, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes. It helps supply inexpensive, preventative medication to manage these conditions.
